In college, exams are a significant part of student's grades in each class. Some students decide to start studying a week before the test, while others wait until the night before the test. Students should have a plan that allows them to have enough time to study each section of their subject. If you study all subjects in one night, it is more likely that you will not remember all of the information when it comes test time. The worst feeling I have ever had is a time where I waited to study for a big exam the night before and I thought I knew all the information going into the next day. When I was handed my test and looked at the first question, I drew a blank and suddenly forgot about half of the information I studied. A way to make sure that this doesn't happen to you (even though I'm sure it already has) is to make a schedule of how you will study for the test. First, start by making a Source Outline and Topic Outline. These will allow you to break up the subjects into smaller sections and it will be easier to remember come test time.
In order to study for the test I created at study guide using notecards. Notecards are the most efficient way for me to study because I am a visual and kinesthetic learner. They allow me to remember the information easier and I usually study with a person in my class. Next, I made questions in order to quiz myself. In math, making practice questions usual helps you so you can understand the concept to its fullest.
Hey:) This is Yeojin. Your notecard and topic outline look very helpful to study for your exam. But, I think we have to do Exam Preparation instead of Exam Experiment for TECH #3.
ReplyDeleteOh, my bad. I heard from my friends that we can do either Exam Preparation or Exam Experiment. So, I think we are fine.:)
ReplyDeleteI like how your started your blog with an experience and how you learned from your experience. It is nice that you are using the exam experiment for your upcoming exam. The source outline is clear and simple. But you should have posted your topic outline as well. I like how you related your post to LAME by explaining what kind of learner you are.
